This project on successful implementation is said to be  gigantic water grid that south Asia has never witnessed in the history of its water development. Also, will be one of the biggest interbasin water transfer projects in the world.
The Strategic Analysis of India’s National River Linking Project is an undertaking of the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) under the aegis of the Challenge Program on Water and Food (CPWF).
However, the major concern is the colossal mount of funding this project will require.
